Madison Technologies has been awarded the fibre optic data network provision contract for the pipeline infrastructure on the Queensland Gas LNG (QGCLNG) by the MC QGC JV.
They will provide the fibre optics for the communications infrastructure as well as associated passive equipment. This will be associated with the main gas distribution pipeline from central QLD to the coast of Gladstone.
This fibre optic cables meet the project specifications and it will be able to handle the heavy expansive soils and environmental conditions of Northern QLD.
In addition, Madison Technologies has been appointed to provide 3M searchable markers for cable detection, circular electronic markers for pit detection and a range of 3M fibre enclosures.
The pipelines are intended to carry CSG from gas fields in central QLD to an export facility on Curtis Island.
