AUSTRALIA'S leading designer and manufacturer of world-class lubrication equipment and flow meters, Macnaught Pty Limited , has announced the formation of its big new national sales and customer service team.
The national sales team and expanded customer service team are key planks in Macnaught's national strategy of building its presence in a market driven in part by the global resources boom.
The company says it is moving against the flight of Australian manufacturers heading offshore and is strategically building its national market presence for the future.
In March this year, Macnaught "declared war" on what it described as low-cost, low-value, low-quality imports.
It has now dramatically boosted its national sales, marketing and customer relations teams and warehousing infrastructure. Infrastructure improvements at its Sydney headquarters include new manufacturing, warehousing and dispatch facilities.
With trained company specialists in charge of sales, service and technical support, Macnaught says it is now geared to provide world-class levels of customer service and greatly improved response times.
Office facilities have been extended to cater for the company's new dedicated customer service function. Further, the Macnaught technical support team is located in adjoining offices, enabling speedy resolution of technical queries.
Infrastructure improvements include new manufacturing, warehousing and dispatch facilities.
Macnaught says its customers are its number one priority. It says its customers will be able to depend on it for a new sense of urgency and follow-through.
The company has reinvented itself to be fully self-sufficient in order to provide the highest possible levels of sales, technical assistance and support.
CEO Peter Macnaught says the company has built an enviable reputation for innovation in more than 60 countries, with products tailored specifically to individual market needs.
Andrew Riches is extremely optimistic about the company's future, saying Macnaught is set for new levels of success between the quality of its products and the quality of its people and extended facilities, he believes the company is poised for new growth.
