Machinery Automation and Robotics (MAR) have been announced as a finalist for the Telstra 2008 Business Awards.
Now in its 16th year, the Telstra Business Awards recognise and reward the ingenuity and innovation of Australia’s businesses. In 2008, the Telstra Business Award categories were changed to better represent Australian Small and Medium Businesses with the awards open to all eligible businesses between one and 200 employees.
This year over 4,500 businesses across Australia were nominated for the Telstra Business Awards, with just a handful of finalists selected from each state. MAR is one of 6 finalists for both the Panasonic Australia Medium Business Award and the AMP Innovation Award.
MAR builds and integrates automated manufacturing solutions incorporating advanced robotics for production critical industries.
Winners of the Telstra Business Awards will be announced on fifth of September 2008 at Hilton Sydney, where one business will also be named the 2008 Telstra New South Wales Business of the Year.
