MTC Software , a US-based developer of CAM (computer-aided manufacturing) software systems that improve the productivity and profitability of CNC cutting applications, will launch its new Australian operations on Stand 3314 during National Manufacturing Week 2006, to be held at Sydney's Darling Harbour from May 30 to June 2.
Formed in 1984, MTC Software specialises in developing CNC cutting software applications designed to be simple to learn and use, yet very powerful.
Products to be displayed include:
* ProNest and TurboNest nesting software
* Design2FAB for HVAC duct layout
* JobTrak for job management.
These products are designed to work with any 2 or 2.5-axis plasma, oxyfuel, laser, and waterjet cutting system.
In addition, the company will be demonstrating the latest release of ProNest (Version 8) its flagship product.
According to the company, MTC's software is designed to allow users to maximise part quality and savings in raw material, programming time and machine cycle-time - whatever the age of a client's cutting machinery and the volume of material.
Headquartered in the US, the company has wholly owned subsidiary operations in the United Kingdom, Germany and Australia, plus a global network of distributors.
