Leading integrated power solutions provider in Australia and New Zealand, MPower reached a significant milestone when it factory tested a combined 20MW of power systems over the summer of 2013/2014.
This record combines some of the company’s largest commercial, oil, gas and mining projects to date including the Gorgon Administration Building Project, Yarnima Project, and Ichthys FPSO (Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading) Project, with the Ichthys CPF (Central Processing Facility) Project scheduled to go through testing in April 2014.
MPower Projects Managing Director, Anthony Csillag comments that their milestone success is a reflection of the company’s forward direction; the achievement was more for the number of major projects that went through factory acceptance testing over the summer period.
MPower Projects Operational Manager, Eric Nemme explained that the MPower team worked extremely hard to ensure these projects were designed, manufactured and tested successfully against demanding oil, gas and mining standards. He adds that the projects are full turnkey solutions that will deliver critical power in some of Australia’s harshest environments.
