CINCINNATI Test Systems, represented by MPW Australia , has released a slide rule that contains pressure/volume conversions and a manual leak rate calculator. It can be kept on the desk or carried and used on the manufacturing floor.

The slide rule provides pressure conversions for seven different measures and volume conversions for five numeric units, in both metric and imperial standards. The manual leak rate calculator helps determine pressure decay and helium accumulation. The pressure decay attribute can determine an unknown variable among test volume (cc), leak rate (sccm), test time (s) and pressure drop (psi). The helium accumulation aspect finds the unidentified test volume (cc), leak rate (scc/s), test time (s), or helium concentration change (ppm). The slide rule calculator is provided at no cost.
