A number of major new contracts has lead to the purchase of Packaging Automation's Fastfill60 by London based Fresh Olive Company. Packaging Automation's equipment is distributed in Australia by MPI Australia .
Enjoying success in both the UK and abroad, the Fresh Olive Company recently needed to supply 1kg pails of specially prepared olives.
When the company needed to upgrade existing equipment it required a machine that could accommodate the much larger pack size - and the Fastfill60 from Packaging Automation's volumetric range was the perfect choice.
The Fastfill60 has a host of impressive features including an integral control system, which means that programs of different product recipes can be stored and accessed easily.
It is designed for easy cleaning and incorporates a number of design features, which make it very straightforward to use. These include a multi positional touch sensitive control screen and programmable recipes that can easily be recalled.
All operating parameters including fill weights, seal time and film feed can be adjusted on screen, and the self diagnostics for error reporting are incorporated into the machine design - all adding to ease and speed of use.
"We contacted the Fresh Olive Company at the same time they were thinking of upgrading their existing equipment,” said Packaging Automation sales engineer Mark Leaning.
“We showed them what the Fastfill60 was capable of and how we could incorporate other equipment into the production line. They were impressed by the machine and it is now installed and working well, allowing them to maintain production for their overseas and UK contracts."
