Chemicals">MECA Racking Solutions have recently been commissioned to implement the design and configuration of a new warehouse storage area for Consolidated Chemicals. The custom installation of selective pallet racking for the required area has been colour coded to client specification, and the project has increased storage areas.
The addition of the pallet racking has created safety benefits for the palletised storage of chemicals and a more efficient supply chain management system. The benefits of increased storage areas, and improvement to the warehouse has added the value of a better traffic management of the storage area and improvements for stock delivery and order picking.
Consolidated Chemicals required the use of the warehouse, while the installation of the project was being implemented and the staff had been able to function as normal without disruption of business. The project was completed to client satisfaction.
