M2M Connectivity has signed to be the Australia and New Zealand distributor for Quake Global’s range of satellite modems. M2M Connectivity will supply a range of Orbcomm modems including Quake Global’s lowest cost Q1000 modem with a small footprint measuring 6.4 x 6.4 x 1.6cms.
For Iridium, M2M Connectivity offers the Q9612 satellite transceiver, a new generation product, which includes the following features:
- The satellite transceiver is contained within a small footprint measuring 10.9 x 6.4 x 1.9cms and is designed to optimize two-way data links
- The Q9612 satellite modem has 9-18V power conditioning
- This satellite modem can be installed directly onto a 12V vehicle
- The Q9612 satellite transceiver is interfaced with an RS-232 serial port
- The modem is programmable through an AT Command Set Interface
