Sierra Wireless MC8790 HSPA module
M2M Connectivity  has launched the Sierra Wireless MC8790 module for 3G/HSPA networks.

The Sierra Wireless MC8790 module is designed for developers integrating mobile broadband capabilities into modems, terminals, routers and other products requiring high-speed data over 3G/HSPA networks.

Tri-band HSPA support and receive diversity on all bands make the module globally compatible.

The Sierra Wireless MC8790 module supports peak data speeds of up to 7.2Mbps (megabits per second) on the downlink and 2.0Mbps on the uplink (future upgradeable to 5.76Mbps).

The Sierra Wireless MC8790 module is a cost-effective solution that delivers reliable and high-quality mobile broadband connectivity.
