M2M Connectivity introduces Wavecom Fastrack Supreme Developer Kit
M2M Connectivity has launched Wavecom Fastrack Supreme Developer Kit at CeBIT Sydney on 20 May 2008. The Wavecom Fastrack Supreme Developer Kit is a ready-to-go hardware and software development platform allowing developers to quickly create wireless applications.
The Fastrack Supreme GPRS modem in the Fastrack Supreme Developer Kit features an ARM9 32 bit CPU. The Fastrack Supreme Developer Kit also comes with Wavecom Open AT Software Suite. This gives developers access to many ready-to-use code samples to create applications quickly as well as a platform to write embedded applications for the modem.
With the Wavecom Supreme modem additional connectivity features can be added using the internal expansion socket (IES) interface. M2M Connectivity supplies three Wavecom IES boards (GPS, IO’s, USB) and the Kit also includes an IES development board so developers can design their own.
“The Wavecom Fastrack Supreme Development Kit is an ideal platform for wireless developers to quickly create and test applications. Further the development board in the Fastrack Supreme Developer Kit allows developers to design their own daughter boards with added functionality, without the need to go into complex and expensive board design processes” said Darren Moroney, General Manager at M2M Connectivity.
Wavecom’s Fastrack Supreme Development Kit consists of the Fastrack Supreme modem and OpenAT Software together with the cables, antennas and connectors to get going. It even includes an IESM development board so you can design your own application board.
M2M connectivity will be showcasing the Fastrack Supreme Developer Kit at CeBIT Sydney from May 20-22 at Stand F60, Hall 2. Development Kits are available for developers to order now.
