presents the S1400 internal/ freezer roll fast doors featuring an electrically-powered top roller that moves the plastic fabric door curtain rapidly up and down.
Designed for quick access, the S1400 internal roll fast doors have a self-supporting easy to install construction consisting of two side guides and the top roller made of precision drawn steel tube. A control box provides operator controls and monitors the door curtain movements as well as the safety features.
The controller is equipped with an inverter to ensure fast, smooth operation on acceleration and braking. Any normal pulse generator, time-delay relays or diagnostic LEDs may be connected to the controller.
The roll fast doors comprise of galvanised, bolt-on steel sheet side frames with integral guides for the door curtain and integral sealing brushes.
The door curtain is made of plastic reinforced fabric 1.5mm thick, constructed in three sections and separated by aluminium wind bars. A transparent PVC vision panel forms the central section, which stretches from 1400mm to 2400mm above the floor. The aluminium bottom rail features a self-monitoring safety edge and rubber seal.
The S1400 internal roll fast doors are powered by a SEUSTER compact electric motor/ gearbox combination ready for keying to the top roller. Fitted with a magnetoelectric brake and six limit switches mounted directly on the shaft, the motor specifications are 240 V, 50 Hz, 16A with an output of 1.1kW, IP 54. The drive is mounted right, but can optionally be mounted left.
S1400 internal roll fast doors offer an opening speed of 1.4 m/sec and closing speed of 0.5 m/sec.
A lockable mains isolator and an emergency stop button are provided in addition to the OPEN/STOP/CLOSE push buttons mounted on the face of the control box. Push buttons, remote control system, pull cords, radar, induction loops and airlock-type controls may be incorporated optionally. The system also includes an intermediate stop freely adjustable to suit requirements.
Safety features in the S1400 internal roll fast doors include a self-monitoring safety edge supplied with the doors, which reverses the door on impact in addition to an anti-crash mechanism. A safety photo electric cell mounted within the side frame prevents the door from closing if obstructed. An emergency cranking facility is also supplied for opening during power failure.
