M.T.I. Qualos supplies a range of industrial high speed sectional roller doors that offer quick, easy access and reliable performance.
Featuring a self-supporting, easy-to-install construction, the industrial high speed sectional roller doors consist of two side guides and a top roller.
The electrically-powered top roller moves the plastic fabric door curtain rapidly up or down.
A control box with operator controls monitors the door curtain movements and the safety features.
Opening speed of the roller doors is 1.1 m/sec while the closing speed is 0.5 m/sec.
The high speed sectional roller doors feature galvanised bolt-on steel sheet side frames with integral guides for the door curtain and integral sealing brushes.
A flexible conduit houses the power cables to the safety edge. The top roller is made of precision drawn steel tube.
The door curtain is made from 1.5mm thick plastic reinforced fabric, constructed in three sections and separated by aluminium wind bars.
The central section has a transparent PVC vision panel stretching from 1400mm to 2400mm above the floor.
The door curtain also features an aluminium bottom rail with self-monitoring safety edge and rubber seal.
The industrial roller doors incorporate a SEUSTER compact electric motor/ gearbox combination ready for keying to the top roller.
Fitted with magneto-electric brake and 6 limit switches mounted directly on the shaft, the drive is mounted right by default, but can optionally be mounted left.
Motor specifications are 240 V, 50 Hz, 16A. Output is 0.65 kW, IP 54.
The controller in the roller doors is equipped with an inverter to ensure fast, smooth operation on acceleration and braking.
Any normal pulse generator, time-delay relays or diagnostic LEDs may be connected optionally.
The control box features OPEN/STOP/CLOSE push buttons mounted on the face in addition to a lockable mains isolator and an emergency stop button.
Additional push buttons, remote control system, pull cords, radar, induction loops and airlock-type controls may be incorporated.
The industrial high speed sectional roller doors feature a self-monitoring safety edge, which reverses the door on impact in addition to an anti-crash mechanism.
A safety photo electric cell mounted within the side frame prevents the door from closing if obstructed.
An emergency cranking facility is also supplied for opening the door during power failure.
