introduces its new off-road side tipper for the mining and resources sector.
Featuring a 180-tonne carrying capacity and designed for 100% off-road use, the off-road side tippers are ideal for operations carrying heavy loads across large sites such as coal and iron ore mines.
Lusty EMS General Manager, Andrew Wibberley explains that the new off-road side tipper has been designed specifically to address the requirements of the resources sector, especially for a high mass-carrying capacity and durability. Andrew describes ‘off-road’ as ‘heavy duty, oversized and built tough for tougher conditions’.
The new tipper trailer is built for strength and durability, and features a Hardox steel tub to enable it to carry different materials. The rugged build is enhanced with heavy duty spring suspensions across each axle, LED mine-spec lights and polyurethane 2 pack paint.
The new off road side tippers can also be customised to suit specific requirements and are available in single trailer to C-Triple configurations. Since the tipper trailers can be operated off-road, they are able to bypass many of the usual road authority restrictions.
The tubs can also be built to differing heights depending on the density of the load, ranging from 1m high for denser loads to 3m high for lighter loads.
The introduction of the new off-road side tipper has received great response from the mining industry with most orders placed for use in the coal mining sector.
