"Lovells Springs has been spring maker to the rail industry of Australia for over 40 years. But such is the world of rolling stock, such is the internationalisation of the market, Lovells can not afford to just look to Australia”.
“We must be a global player to survive. To do that Lovells must keep abreast of the European Standards in the manufacturer of springs and implement them where ever." John Wayland said.
Lovells Springs will host an international conference on spring making on August 2nd at the Carrington factory.
Visitors from Russia, Spain and France will be there to outline the various standards those countries have adopted.
The main area of discussion will be the European DIN Standards.
