Logitech Australia introduces the new Logitech Harmony 650 remote in the Australian market.
A new addition to the award-winning line of Logitech Harmony remotes, the universal remote is capable of replacing up to five remotes and the one-click operation enhances convenience for the user.
With most living rooms becoming crowded with remote controls, the Logitech Harmony 650 remote gives the user total control of all home entertainment systems while clearing up unnecessary clutter.
To automatically turn on the right devices and select the appropriate input settings, one-click activity buttons are provided to make entertainment fun and simple. After completing the online setup, the user simply has to select an activity such as ‘Watch a DVD’ and the Logitech Harmony 650 remote automatically turns on the right devices and selects the right inputs.
The Logitech Harmony 650 remote features a colour screen, which displays the icons for favourite channels as well as the commands required for the respective devices.
For example, the user can easily switch to favourite shows with just one click using the icons on the display screen. There’s no need to enter or remember the channel number.
The new remote joins the award-winning family of Harmony universal remotes from the recently announced Logitech Harmony 300 remote, which controls up to four devices through to Logitech Harmony 900 remote, which controls 15 different devices – even when they are behind closed doors.
Easy set up
Setting up a Logitech Harmony remote is really uncomplicated. The user simply has to connect the remote to the computer, go to the Logitech Harmony site and download the software.
Once the make and model numbers of the entertainment devices are entered, the Logitech Harmony software does the rest. From Betamax to Blu-ray, the Logitech Harmony remote can control virtually all IR home electronic devices.
Logitech’s growing database of devices supports more than 250,000 home entertainment devices from over 5,000 brands.
