A delegation from the Xiamen Logistics Association in China visited Australia recently seeking thought leadership in supply chain and logistics and to better understand how to manage the talent pool in China.
The first stop was to Logistics Recruitment offices in Sydney to gain guidance from the world-leaders in recruitment.
According to Logistics Recruitment Director Mr Nick Stolp, Logistics Recruitment is now fully active in China providing a broad range of HR, recruitment and executive search functions, along with providing multi-national companies with supply chain consulting services.
The delegation was made up of key Xiamen city logistics representatives who have a common goal to re-position the port city as a key area for supply chain and logistics professionals in the region.
The group included the Director of Xiamen Transport Authority, senior executives from Xiamen Port Holding Group, the General Manager of Xiamen Transportation Development, a Director of Haicang Office Of Xiamen Customs District, a Division Chief for the Xiamen Communications Committee, the General Manager of Xiamen Haicang Investment, the General Manager of Xiamen Export Processing Jone Logistics and the General Manger of Xiamen Haitou Engineering Construction company.
