PULSES determine the limitations of a metering pump. Not only is the occurrence of pulses an impediment to development of in-line and continuous processes, it also causes lack of uniformity in production goods, vibrations in piping, and a host of other problems.
This is a major reason why pumps such as the centrifugal pump and gear pump are still used in many production processes. Generally, when only discharge precision and durability are required, the metering pump is sufficient.
However, to eliminate pulsation, the combined use of an air chamber and an accumulator is essential. This results in a significant burden in terms of operation and costs.
The TPL (pictured), MPL and PL Series, available from sLiquid Control , adds a high-performance pulseless metering pump to the features of the Tacmina range.
TACMINA has taken only the performance, which is essential, and fully pursued these qualities to offer the best product in the optimum shape.
