LINDE has established a new finance division to provide competitive rental, hire purchase and finance lease options for the company's material handling equipment customers.

The new Linde Financial Services (LFS) operation features streamlined systems and simplified paperwork, designed to expedite the finance application process.

In many cases Linde customer finance applications can be approved in a single day with the completion of just one document.

Finance through LFS can be arranged on new and used equipment that is sold through any Linde branch. Traded competitor brand equipment can also be financed.

The new finance arm has already helped to bring all the advantages of Linde equipment to a significant number of new users and to customers replacing existing Linde forklifts.

"We see this is as a logical extension of our relationship with Linde Material Handling customers," said General Manager Sales and Marketing, Andrew Satterley.

"Linde Financial Services is geared to assist by offering financial options, which take into account the way your business operates.

"It can take care of your needs whether they are for just a single forklift or for a whole fleet."

Andrew Satterley said LFS would enable Linde to provide enhanced service to the growing number of materials handling customers who are turning to the brand.

Linde's sales executives already establish a thorough understanding of their customers' forklift needs and usage patterns as part of the process of matching the correct model or models for the job requirements.

They are now applying that knowledge to the equally important task of tailoring a finance package to suit. And because the whole process is conducted through the one organisation, the paperwork is kept to a minimum.

"Bundling the equipment and its finance as the one package has made Linde even more competitive in the marketplace than ever before," said Mr Satterley.

"When you look at the options now available through our finance division and team them with Linde's low total cost of ownership, it is obvious that this is a very good offer."

Linde manufactures an extensive range of forklifts with capacities from 1.2t to 52t.

The company has a national factory-owned customer support network and operates one of the largest rental fleets in the country.
