Linde Material Handling (MH) introduces its new range of electric forklift trucks featuring larger load capacities from 3.5 tonnes to 5 tonnes.
Linde had earlier showcased the new series of electric forklift trucks at the CeMAT trade fair. Available in several variants, the larger capacity forklifts can meet diverse application requirements.
Linde MH offers their customers a choice of electric forklift trucks in standard models with large batteries (840 Ah) for continuous use and more compact models with smaller batteries (700 Ah), which are ideal for use in small spaces.
Increased operator comfort is an important design development in the new Linde E35 to E50 electric forklift trucks with drivers benefitting from a new generation seat, which is also seen in the revised model of the combustion engine-powered Linde H40 to H50 trucks.
Optionally, an air-sprung comfortable seat with a redesigned armrest can be installed in either truck type. Comfort is further enhanced with the optional Active seat option, which provides ventilation of the seat and back surfaces.
The larger electric forklift trucks also incorporate an optional electric fan, which expels the battery gases produced during the charging process in a controlled manner out of the back of the truck.
The active ventilation feature during the battery charging process saves the user time as there is no need to open the doors or battery hood during the charging process. All the driver has to do is open the rear cover and connect the battery charging cable to an external battery charger, or connect the charging cable for the high-frequency on-board charger to a high-voltage socket.
Key innovations in the larger models also include a traction control system, the remaining travel time display in minutes and the three different operating modes.
Linde will soon offer a 5-tonne electric forklift truck with a 600mm load centre of gravity for transporting large loads.
