IF the workplace is a jungle, the forklift can be one of the most dangerous animals in it.
Linde Materials Handling takes the teeth out of the tiger by incorporating safety into the design of all forklifts, pallet trucks and other warehouse equipment designed and built by the company.
Linde considers safety in its equipment from the very start – at the design stage. Issues such as driver comfort and emissions are given as serious consideration as braking and visibility in the design of its products.
Some of Linde’s range will be on display at the Safety in Action exhibition in May. The Linde forklift safety video will also be available at the show.
Linde has recently launched its 394 range, 4.0t, 4.5t and 5.0t versions of the highly successful 39X range of internal combustion forklifts.
These new 4t to 5t models have significant performance enhancements over previous models, including improved capacity, quieter operation, reduced emissions, faster cycles times, a 4kW increase in power and extended maintenance intervals.
Linde products can be seen at stand N02 during Safety In Action and Materials & Manual Handling, which runs from Tuesday May 16 to Thursday May 18 2006 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
