The Titan 801 is both a 3.4kW AC generator and a robust four cylinder, liquid-cooled diesel engine driven 800 amp DC arc welder. This rugged diesel field welder is specifically suited to harsh environmental conditions. It is ideal for cross-country pipelines, mining and construction sites, hire fleets, and civil engineering projects. There are no PCB's used in this welder/generator’s design. Its designers have taken into account the in-field maintenance requirements of remote locations.
Advantages of the Titan 801 engine driven multi-process welder/generator:
Output stud hand nuts provide connection of welding leads without tools and all windings are made of copper for enhanced arc stabilty. There are no electronics or printed circuit boards and the unit is powered by the Cummins B3.3 liquid-cooled industrial diesel engine. The welder/generator has a 800 amps DC output for heavy duty welding and carbon arc gouging. Also, it features eight current ranges with overlap, fine tuning within each range.
