The Lincoln Electric Company announces the appointment of Jennifer Ansberry as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel. Ms. Ansberry’s role as Deputy General Counsel has been extended to include leadership of the Company's environmental, health and safety (EH&S) organisation, which includes the development and implementation of EH&S policies, programs and practices.
Ms Ansberry will also be responsible for a major part of the Company's legal function including global mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, corporate governance and other general corporate legal matters.
According to Lincoln Electric General Counsel and Secretary, Fred Stueber, Jennifer has been successfully managing risk mitigation while supporting the organisation’s global growth and legal department during her 10-year tenure at the Company. He adds that her broad experience, commitment to best practices and leadership skills will add tremendous value to their EH&S efforts and help the organisation meet their global EH&S objectives.
Prior to joining Lincoln Electric in 2004 as Deputy General Counsel, Ms. Ansberry served as an associate at Thompson Hine LLP and at Keating, Muething & Klekamp LLP.
