LightOptronics offers a new model Quick release for The Woodpecker and upgrade opportunity of existing units, for versatility, convenience and safety.
Upgrade - The Woodpecker is a Percussion 2 Pneumatic Oscillating System and can be used both as a rasp for prosthetic device operations and as an intermedullary pin implantation and extraction machine.
The new Quick release adapter will provide additional versatility in the use of The Woodpecker with easier and safer connection and disconnection of the rasp and/or intramedullary pin adapter.
Older model Woodpeckers can be upgraded to the new Quick release adapter, and the complete package includes a complete overhaul of the unit, including replacement of all seals and gaskets, replacement of the old adapter assembly with the new quick release type, Steri-cap and a 12 months warranty on all parts exchanged and workmanship.
