Lencrow Group has entered into a 5-year fleet management agreement with Australian Bakels for its operations in Sydney.
Australian Bakels is a manufacturer of specialised bakery and food items primarily for industry. The deal will allow Bakels to invest in the latest forklift technologies while gradually replacing old stock.
Lencrow meets the needs of organisations seeking comprehensive fleet management rather than suppliers solely providing machines.
Fleet management covers the supply as well as maintenance of fleet machines, eliminating the need for companies such as Bakels to hire extra staff to manage that part of the business.
Bram Marsman, distribution centre manager for Bakels stated that they were looking for a company that provided all-in-one fleet management solutions. He cites Lencrow’s dependability, reliability and location as the primary factors that drove the decision to enter into the agreement.
Australian Bakels’ current fleet comprises of 40 units of various types and configurations. Lencrow’s Sales Manager Ross Smith conducted a detailed site survey to identify six units that required immediate attention. These six units have now been ordered with deliveries expected in March.
Retirement units over the period will be progressively replaced enabling Bakels to operate with maximum efficiency while ensuring a safe environment for workers.
The agreement is mutually beneficial and will see the supplied forklifts maintained by Lencrow’s service fleet.
