The Partisol 2000i-D Dichotomous Air Sampler by Thermo Fisher Scientific and available by Lear Siegler Australasia , is designed to simultaneously accumulate both fine and coarse particulate matter (PM) of high qualities. Using the respected iSeries software platform design, this sampler was developed with USB ports for faster data downloads.
The totally new packaged iSeries software enhances the user interface and provides simpler connectivity via serial, ethernet and usb ports. The Partisol samplers enhance over-all operation and provide the user with a staple ambient monitoring network.
To separate incoming PM-10 air streams into its fine PM-2.5 and coarse PM-10 minus PM-2.5 components, the Partisol 2000i-D Dichotomous Air Sampler assigns a virtual impactor, and utilises FRM style filter cassettes to house the 47mm filters. These filters are specially used for the collection of both coarse and fine PM.
Having both cassettes installed in an accommodating carrier, the filter exchange assembly allows for swift and easy collection.
