The Le Mac Australia Group has won the Gold Award in the Amcor Packaging The Brand Award at the 2005 Packaging Awards for its entry Polyglaze.

It’s easy to see how a price premium can be the result of the right packaging.
This design raises the consumer perception and expectation of the product and its performance. The graphics and aesthetics are head and shoulders above the often ‘industrial’ appearance of the past.
The resulting image is one that ideally suits the category.
The packs add value to the brand promise, reflecting all the aesthetic sensibilities of a highly polished finish.
Where product permits, similar pack shapes have been used to hold different products, so not every product in the range creates a new silhouette. This helps to further unite the range.
The smoke-grey plastic triggers and black caps finish what is a masculine, slick design. Despite carrying a lot of pack copy, graphics and imagery, these packs nonetheless manage to deliver powerful branding in an instant.
Whether displayed together or separately, the individual packs are immediately recognisable as part of a larger brand identity.
