Lawson has announced that Mohegan Sun, the United State's second largest casino, has signed a contract to implement Enwisen Knowledgebase in order to help provide better employee self-service and to reduce operating costs.
Knowledgebase is a web-based portal that helps unify HR and self-service solutions into one user interface with single sign-on capability. Using the system, Mohegan Sun employees will be able to access a 24/7 'HR anywhere' service.
This will help the company to reduce administrative costs associated with manual tasks and routine calls to its help desk. Several manual, paper-based HR processes will be replaced by Knowledgebase, helping to reduce time spent processing simple tasks, cut costs and better serve employees.
Senior Vice President of Global Human Capital Management Products for Lawson, Larry Dunivan, explains that "human resource departments are constantly challenged to improve efficiency and control costs while meeting higher employee expectations for quality service."
