Lawson Software , a global provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, has announced an expanded partnership with Deloitte to deliver implementation services in New Zealand. This latest alliance furthers Lawson’s strategy to build its partner network in the Asia Pacific region, including Australia and New Zealand.
Since 1994 Deloitte has been one of Lawson’s strategic enterprise consulting partners. The global auditing and consulting company's service offering covers all aspects critical to the successful implementation of Lawson solutions, including advice on project management, organisational change and implementation strategy, as well as the management of operations, customers and technology integration.
Axel van der Smagt, Services Director for Lawson, Australia and New Zealand said “We feel the partnership with Deloitte means our customers will get more from their implementations.”
Deloitte will provide a team of Lawson-certified practitioners in New Zealand who will use Deloitte’s time-tested implementation methodology, FastTrack. This includes model project deliverables from previous business systems implementation projects Deloitte has supported. Additionally, Deloitte brings IP such as its Enterprise Value Map, which can detail specific actions New Zealand customers should consider to help drive shareholder value, and correlate these actions to the Lawson functionality that can help enable them.
“While Lawson knows how to deliver ERP solutions with a low total cost of ownership, Deloitte knows that getting the most out of the solution involves much more than configuration. At a minimum, it requires an understanding of customers’ business objectives, and how Lawson can support them. With our combined expertise, our new partnership in New Zealand will help drive efficiency and improve performance within our customer organisations. In particular, it will help customers reap the benefits of solutions such as Lawson QuickStep, which are a pre-configured suite of solutions designed to speed up implementation,” said Van der Smagt.
Steve Wakefield, Consulting Services Partner for Deloitte New Zealand said, “The deep business skills of the Deloitte team of consultants combined with the technical skills of the Lawson Professional Services (LPS) team provides customers in New Zealand with a robust and cost-effective approach that emphasises process improvement. We look forward to working closely together.”
Lawson’s partnership with Deloitte will take effect immediately.
