Lawson Software sign an agreement with Turnpoint Solutions

Lawson Software  have signed an agreement with Turnpoint Solutions, providers of business and process driven IT consultancy services, to service Lawson customers across Australia and New Zealand.

Turnpoint Solutions consultants deliver a range of business consulting and IT projects in major process areas such as asset management, mobile work management and business performance management.

Turnpoint Solutions deliver vertical-specific expertise in both business strategy and technology, helping customers to achieve success through IT-enabled business process transformation.

Turnpoint Solutions principal focus is on asset intensive industries and their portfolio includes customers from a range of companies, including mining, utility and transportation organisations.

According to Lawson Software, this partnership will make it simple for their customers in Australia and New Zealand to select and implement new solutions utilising the combination of Lawson Software enterprise software solutions and Turnpoint Solutions’ services.

Lawson Software note that their teams will join together to provide a combination of industry best practice knowledge, software and IT systems domain expertise to develop comprehensive programme management, process improvement consulting, systems implementation and integration services programmes to customers.

Turnpoint Solutions will work alongside Lawson Software to provide services and programmes in three main areas including process alignment and business case development, project management and Lawson Software implementations.

For process alignment and business case development, Lawson Software consultants and Turnpoint Solutions will work together to analyse customers’ current business processes and design more efficient processes based on industry best practices.

The review of current systems and technologies will be used to determine capacity to support improvements and develop a business case based on leveraging existing investments in infrastructure and deploying new technologies, such as Lawson applications, to help companies better gauge their return on investment through measurable and tangible improvements. Consultants will also work together to develop a roadmap for process improvement to include project and resource plans and a change management programme.

In the area of project management, Lawson Software and Turnpoint Solutions will use experienced and certified project managers along with an implementation methodology to provide an on-time delivery based on customers’ expected results.

In the third key area of Lawson Software implementation, Turnpoint Solutions consultants will provide customers with Lawson M3 application implementation knowledge combined with process and best practice experience.

According to Turnpoint Solutions, their consultants will work with Lawson Software customers at both executive and management levels to make sure their business strategies are mapped clearly to technology investments that underpin business process change. This will make sure their investments in software and IT provides a measurable return on investment.
