Lawson Software , a global provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software applications, have announced that Blue Wing Honda, the official New Zealand importer and distributor of Honda road motorcycles, off-road motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles (ATV's) and personal watercraft will implement Lawson QuickStep Distribution software.
The Lawson QuickStep solution is a pre-configured ERP package designed to simplify and speed the software implementation for distribution based companies. Blue Wing Honda chose the system to help support its long-term growth plans. The contract was signed with Caspex Corporation, parent company of Blue Wing Honda.
From headquarters in Greenlane, Auckland, Blue Wing Honda operate a nationwide motorcycle distribution and support network through 70 franchised Honda motorcycle and power products dealers, with major warehouses in Manukau and Christchurch. Blue Wing Honda manage the distribution, marketing and sales of goods and parts across multiple product categories.
