The new Aerotech MPS-SV series is available in two sizes and offers a choice of DC servomotor with rotary encoder or stepper motor.
Featuring a precision-ground ball screw and preloaded crossed-roller bearings to provide smooth and accurate geometric performance, high accuracy and repeatability and 0.05 µm minimum incremental motion, the MPS-SV lift stages also offer a lead-screw drive option for more cost-sensitive applications. All drive train mechanics are designed for high reliability and extended service life.
MPS-SV stages are available with vacuum preparation to 10-6 Torr that includes a vacuum-rated connector. An optional mounting plate provides direct mounting to both English and metric optical breadboards.
A multitude of adapter brackets and mounting compatibility inherent in the entire MPS stage family allow easy assembly of multi-axis stage configurations.
