Laser Resources presents Rofin’s fibre laser marking system

Rofin PowerLine F

Laser Resources  has announced the release from Rofin of a robust and compact fibre laser marking system for industrial use.

The PowerLine F system combines all of the marking experience and innovative software (VLM) from Rofin with fibre technology, which is well suited to certain applications.

The unit is completely air-cooled and rugged, meaning it is well suited for industrial use. IP54 for the laser head and marking unit.

The frequency range for the Yb fibre is 20-80kHz at 1065nm +/- 5nm. The laser is easy to integrate as are all Rofin lasers and the VLM software in its recent version offers the capacity for interfacing to other software or external data, as well as intuitive ease of use.

Standardly equipped with a 160mm focal length lens (Marking area 120mm x 120mm. Other sizes are available on request.

The laser is compact; the supply unit is only three rack units and the supplied PC just one rack unit. The laser head is only 380mm long and 90mm in diameter.

Of course like all units in the Rofin range the laser is highly reliable, with high up times and low maintenance. With the addition of this marking unit, Rofin is able to offer the most comprehensive range of marking systems in the market.
