Available now from Lamson Engineering , the Lamson C.A.S.T. (Casino Automated Secure Transfer) system is an air tube transfer system that was developed specifically for the gaming industry.
The C.A.S.T air tube transfer system uses compressed air to transport objects through tubes from one location to another, effectively linking gaming areas to cash cages and count rooms. The system is a new method for the transfer of drop boxes between gaming pit areas and cash cages. It replaces gaming table "drop" boxes with a carrier that is electronically monitored throughout its route by RFID technology.
These patented, ultra secure carriers act just like an industry standard drop box, only they move, unassisted, at a speed of around 750cm per second. It also has all the same features as the current drop box, including dual key locks and locking drop slot. The programmable access control system also assures use of the system is authorised.
These carriers can also be used to transfer other secure items, such as cards, chips, markers and secure documents.
Key features and benefits of the C.A.S.T air tube transfer system include:
- enhanced security
- noticable reduction in cash and drop box handling
- faster and more efficient transportation of cash
- streamlined collection process
- complete transaction audit trail
- live transaction monitoring on system PC display
- integrates with existing security and surveillance systems.
