High-performance engineering adhesives, sealants, coatings and specialty products manufacturer Loctite will feature its new freeze and release lubricant and anti-corrosive solution on Stand 3006 during National Manufacturing Week 2007 at the Melbourne Exhibition & Convention Centre, from May 22 to 25.
Trying to free a rusted nut, bolt, stud, coupling or hinge can hold up a job, cause frustration and cost money. Loctite ’s freeze and release is an effective way of releasing those stubborn components.
The product’s shock-freeze formula instantly chills the rusted components by up to 43 degrees Celsius. The freezing effect cracks rusted surfaces allowing the lubricating ingredient to wick directly into the rust by capillary action. The assembly can then be easily dismantled.
Released parts remain lubricated and protected from corrosion. Loctite has been developing and manufacturing high-performance engineering adhesives, sealants, coatings and specialty products for more than 50 years.
