Henkel Australia has launched the newest innovation in workplace training for the Loctite range of adhesive, sealant and specialty products.

The mobile training laboratory, known as Loctite Live, is a state-of-the-art mobile classroom complete with testing and demonstration apparatus and the latest in audio-visual facilities.

The vehicle is the result of over twelve months of planning, design and construction. It will seat up to eight people in insulated and airconditioned comfort making it the perfect size for the engineering departments of medium to large production or maintenance organisations.

Loctite marketing manager Michael Wilkinson said with the new facility Loctite was able to offer comfortable, well equipped, interruption-free technical sessions with minimal lost working time and without the inconvenience and cost of travel.

“The "on-site" nature of the sessions means they can focus on providing tailored solutions for problems encountered by participants in their workplace. Our research shows that industry will quickly take advantage of the benefits that this new innovation will bring."

Loctite Live began operation in Victoria during January, 2005 and will travel to the other States of Australia in a programmed cycle.

"We expect demand for the Mobile Education Centre to build quickly so registering your requirement early will be very important," Michael Wilkinson added.
