Engineered and manufactured in Japan, the Kubota range of diesel generators has been providing reliable portable power in a multitude of applications.

As the portable power market requires an assured supply of constant electrical power, Kubota Tractor’s engineers have focused on this requirement and developed a range of reliable generator models comprising 5 to 17kVA single phase units and 12 to 30kVA three phase units.

Kubota Tractor’s GL series silent pack single phase diesel generator sets include 6kVA GL6000 and the 9 kVA GL9000 have as established a reputation for providing a reliable portable power for various applications where standby or prime power is required.

Capitalising on Kubota Tractor’s reputation for reliability, the Queensland SES Department utilises a GL6000 to supply power for its emergency food vans used in remote areas to bring relief to the hard working volunteers that battle the aftermath of floods, cyclones and bush fires throughout Queensland.

According to Anthony Smith of Allclass Construction Machinery in Brisbane the GL6000’s used by the SES are perfectly matched to their requirements. Anthony said “providing the SES with such a reliable power source is pleasing because I can be rest assured they will not be left without a power source when it really matters”.
