A new 2.5 tonne Kubota zero tail swing mini excavator has been added to the extensive range of Kubota mini excavators available in Australia.
The release of new model U25-3 at Kubota Australia's National Construction Dealer Conference held in Melbourne this August increases the number of Kubota mini excavators in the under six tonne class to a total of ten.
Dealer reaction to the new model was extremely positive.
Mitchell Pennells from Aussie Hammers in Sydney was quick to point out the advantage of zero tail swing in such a compact model. "For the first time we can now offer customers a 2.5 tonne zero tail swing excavator capable of working in confined spaces that could previously only be inefficiently worked with conventional tail swing machines" Mitchell said.
He went on to say, "The U25-3 eliminates the possibility of striking the tail on any vertical structure ensuring operators avoid damaging property and allows them to concentrate fully on the job at hand. This has got to be real plus for hire companies that may hire machines to less experienced or novice operators".
Featuring exceptional stability previously unattainable with conventional zero tail swing machines, the U25-3 can deliver a massive bucket breakout force of 2320kg/f for improved digging performance, faster cycle times and superior overall productivity.
By incorporating a two speed travel switch on the dozer blade lever operators have more leg room for enhanced comfort. A suspension seat with arm rests minimizes jolts while the newly developed short stroke control levers provide operators with a greater degree precise control. In addition, the control levers operating pattern can be easily changed from SAE to ISO and visa versa.
With a full opening hood and bonnet for easy servicing the U25-3 really is "operator friendly".
For peace of mind a three year / 3000 hour warranty applies to all Kubota excavators and they have the full support of an authorised dealer network that delivers a high level of service and spare parts availability.
