As a world leader in the manufacture and distribution of tractors for agricultural and industrial applications, Kubota Corporation supplies L30 series smart tractors to markets in North America, Europe and Australia.
Featuring a digitally displayed electronic monitoring system, which alerts operators to the status of key functions, Kubota L30 series tractors raise the benchmark for tractors in the 30 to 50 horsepower category. In fact Kubota is one of the only two manufacturers of tractors in Australia that can supply a 50 horsepower tractor with a hydrostatic transmission.
A total of six tractor models, including two tractors with cabins, are available with Kubota’s exclusive Intellipanel, which gives operators the ability to monitor travel speed, fuel level, PTO speed, trip meter, engine coolant temperature and service intervals at the touch of a button. A series of indicator lights and a LCD panel combine to form the Intellipanel giving the L30 series a clear advantage over tractors with conventional instrumentation.
L30 series engines are manufactured by Kubota and exceed world environmental emission standards. L30 series engines run extremely quiet, are fuel efficient and produce minimal vibration. The engine head cover bolts down on to a rubber isolation ring to avoid metal to metal contact with the engine head reducing noise level in the L30 series tractors by a significant amount – 2 dBA.
Combustion efficiency is outstanding leading to improved fuel economy and a high torque rise while the addition of dynamic balances to the crankcase on these four cylinder engines reduces secondary vibrations.
The new model line up includes both fully synchronised gear and three range hydrostatic transmissions. A proportional reducing hydraulic valve links the forward/reverse pedal with the hydrostatic transmission to minimise pedal pressure for easy operation.
A tilt steering wheel and adjustable seat with armrests allows operators to find the optimum position for driving comfort in the roomiest operator's station on the market.
Three point hitch lift capacity has been increased by 20% with the addition of hydraulic lift assist cylinders so heavier and larger implements can be used. This is of particular benefit to turf renovation applications where large coring machines are used. Both hydrostatic and gear drive model tractors have a fully independent hydraulic PTO.
An optional mid PTO kit can be installed to models up to 35 horsepower allowing a 1.5 metre mid mount mower to be fitted. Likewise, a full range of Kubota loaders are available providing even more versatility.
