Korenix Technology introduces the WES2009-EN Operating System, a new feature in its JetBox 8150 Series of Intel Atom-based Computers.
The upgraded software provides the JetBox 8150 with a flexible and more user-friendly system development for field site deployments, and also offering programmers with the latest Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 Service Pack1.
The new operating system also upgrades Windows Media Player to version 11 to help provide more possibilities for storing digital media and ensuring easier accessibility. The Korenix Technology Jetbox 8150 is a VIA Eden-based industrial communication PC, which features a system memory of 1GB DDRII RAM and a built-in media processor for enhancing multimedia performances.
The industrial PC includes RJ-45 Ethernet ports, RS-232 and RS-232/422/485 serial ports, USB and VGA with high resolution audio and web server services to make the device suitable for front end solutions in various industrial network infrastructures.
The JetBox 8150 consists of a rugged design with vibration and shock resistance and operating temperatures from -50ºC to 70ºC, which makes these industrial computers ideal for harsh environments.
Available from Korenix Technology, users can choose to store the WES2009 Operating System in the CompactFlash card or SATA Drive in the JetBox 8150. The operating system is available in English, however different languages are available upon request.
