The JetBox 9310, a new embedded computing solution for harsh environments

Taipei, Taiwan, May 2008— The JetBox 9310 embedded computer has been redesigned by Korenix Technology for use in harsh industrial environments.

The JetBox 9310 is a RISC-based embedded computer that comes standard with 64 MB SDRAM (128MB optional) and all major interfaces, such as five Ethernet ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two RS-232 ports, two RS-232/422/485 ports, four digital inputs, four digital outputs and one SD card slot. Moreover, built-in Linux OS and network essential applications make the JetBox 9310 a powerful network engine. The JetBox 9310 can operate reliably in temperatures ranging from -40 to 80 degrees Celsius. It provides an embedded computing solution for the following situations:

Applications in outdoor locations, including deserts and mountains, where it is difficult or costly to build a climate-controlled shelter for sensitive electronic equipment.

Applications in indoor locations, such as factory floors, where equipment must be placed near machines that generate extreme heat.

Mobile or mixed applications in harsh environments, such as in the military, where machines must operate reliably in both low and high temperatures. The JetBox 9310 is a patented 6-in-1 Networking Computer.
