Korenix Technology extends its series of communication computers by releasing the new JetBox 8152, the CANbus 1GHZ Industrial Communication Computer for longer distance data transmission with high security and reliability. The VIA Eden V4 1 GHz based computer supports a built in high performance media processor to speed up the graphic related work. The computer delivers even more flexibility to the users by adding a CANbus port to its interface, featuring a serial RS-232/422/488 port, dual RJ-45 Ethernet ports, dual USB2.0 ports, VGA and high resolution audio. JetBox 8152 also integrates a special slot for expanding the memory by SATA Hard Drive.
Users can benefit from the CANbus port of JetBox 8152 by extending their deployment up to 10km in applications with multiple nodes, requiring higher performance, more secure and real-time data communication. With CANbus functionality the products are suitable for manually controlled networks. To make the deployment of JetBox 8152 more flexible and easily manageable for software engineers, the device is deigned to support dual operating systems – Windows XP and Linux Fedora 10. The ready-to-use softwares provide abundant networking related protocols for improving the usability of embedded computers in industrial computing.
