When industrial supplier Bianco recently relocated to a new site in South Australia, industrial cranes from Konecranes were selected for the versatile heavy lifting that would be required in the structural steel division of the plant.
The new 19,000 m2 steel fabrication plant is part of a 16-hectare site being developed by Bianco at Gepps Cross in Adelaide. It is much bigger than the previous site which used just one overhead crane and high forklifts.
All Konecranes industrial cranes have DynADrive inverter drive controllers that use computers to optimise control of the crane and even automate its operation.
The double girder industrial cranes, which has Truninger lifting magnets fitted, is also fitted with Konecranes’ patented DynAPilot anti-sway system that significantly reduces load sway or swing. This results in better safety for the site.
