SCHURTER, represented in Australia by Koloona Industries , has released an MSM switch. A range of contact types allows it to switch voltages from 5V dc to 250V ac, over currents from 0.1A to 10A.

It is IP67-protected and has high impact strength, protected it against vandalism. This makes it suitable for security, public information terminals, ticket machines, or anywhere switching is needed in outdoor or unattended applications.

Mounting from the front the switch fits tight to the panel, with a height of 1.7mm. Wiring is via quick connect terminals on the micro-switch, and the two parts are clipped together, allowing rapid installation. It comes in mounting diameters of 16mm, 19mm and 22mm.

Point and ring-illuminated versions are available for applications where optical status indications are desired, such as dark conditions or disability access systems.
