THE Creo Print On-Demand Solutions group has released a new solution that will enable HP Indigo presses to be integrated into unified workflows that serve both conventional and digital printing equipment.
The HP Indigo Production Stream Server powered by Creo is a new digital print workflow server that is designed specifically for HP Indigo and facilitates efficient migration to offset-quality digital printing.
"Creo production workflow is the leading workflow solution for high-end production digital presses," said General Manager, Creo Print On-Demand Solutions group, Ronen Cohen. "Creo digital printing solutions will drive the majority of production colour presses in the industry."
The new HP Indigo Production Stream Server enables the seamless integration of offset equipment and digital printing operations for users of Kodak Prinergy, Brisque and Synapse workflows together with HP Indigo solutions.
"This cooperation demonstrates our commitment to providing our customers with complete workflow solutions," said Mr Cohen. "We intend to invest more in developing solutions to bring high-quality colour to new markets."
The Production Stream Server provides a professional, rich feature set, plus support for seven-colour Indichrome imaging with JDF- and PDF-enabled graphic arts workflows.
The new server also offers:

* Fast end to end variable data printing solutions supports CREO Variable Print Specification, PPML, Gallop and other professional VDP workflow tools, plus access to Creo partners via the Variable Information (VI) partnership program and workflow partners program.
The first Creo-powered solution for HP Indigo presses will be available in the first half of 2006.
