THE Klöckner Pentaplast Group will increase its market presence in the Asia/Pacific rim. The company will open new sales offices in India and Australia and one representative office in China in early 2006.
In addition, the Klöckner Pentaplast Group’s Thailand plant will be expanding its capacity with an approximately $US8 million investment in its Rayong facility.
The expansion is designed to meet the stringent requirements and regulations of the pharmaceutical, food, and static control markets.
Klöckner Pentaplast is the only global supplier that has a plant in the region that is able to meet these requirements and regulations.
The Australian office is located in Melbourne and will begin to service Australia and New Zealand in February 2006. It is a fully owned subsidiary of the company.
The Klöckner Pentaplast Group is a leading producer of films for pharmaceutical, medical device, food, electronics and general-purpose thermoform packaging, as well as printing and specialty applications.
