KINGSTON Technology has marked the first anniversary of its HyperX memory product line with the release of a range of HyperX DDR 533MHz (PC4300) memory modules.
Kingston’s HyperX lines are high performance DDR memory modules targeted toward PC power users and gamer markets. The new modules are available in 256MB and 512MB capacities, as well as 512MB and 1GB kits. They can achieve data rates of up to 533MHz on various supporting motherboards.
The new products have been designed to perform at lower voltages, enabling the over-clocking and power user community to achieve better thermal conditions in their computers.
HyperX modules are designed and qualified by Kingston Technology through the careful selection of memory components which are then assembled and thoroughly tested for ultimate performance.
Kingston’s HyperX PC4300 modules are assembled with a heat spreader, tested at their highest-rated speeds, and operate at 2.7 volts (the low voltage provides less heat while running the modules at high clock speeds). HyperX PC4300 modules are tested using the Asus P4C800-E motherboard.
