KINDER & Co's Harmony belt lifter allows safe and efficient lifting of the conveyor belt to permit roller replacement, using anti-backlash hydraulic power fed by a simple hand pump.
The product provides a mechanical advantage through its hydraulic lifting/lowering control valves, the speed with which these can be operated, and a locking system that allows maintenance personnel to perform with a high level of safety.
It is suitable for companies operating large and heavy belts as it simplifies and speeds return and trough rollers changes with limited downtime.
The product reduces costs, minimises down time, lifts a conveyor belt clear of all frame rollers in a single lift, minimises possibility of subsequent belt and frame damage, has a single set up for easy return and trough roller changes, and reduces any need for additional equipment.
Overall, it improves safety, reduces the risk of injury, does not require personnel to assume awkward positions, demands no unsafe jacking, levering or hammering, it has lightweight component parts, and is easy to position and set up.
The belt lifter is not bulky and weighs about 35kg. No additional equipment such as cranes or crowbars is needed to operate it.
The unit can be used in confined areas (as well as below ground), even on steep inclines, because it is stable, and with its base being 150mm the entire unit is lightweight and easily transported.
Constructed from aluminium, it has a safe working load of 1000kg. Approximate dimensions are 1700mm length and 100mm width. It comprises an upper and lower beam, operated by two rams and one hand pump.
Two adjustable cradles are attached at the top to cater for various sizes of conveyors. Spreader bars for the return side of the belt are located underneath and connected via chains. These are supplied in various sizes to suit from 600mm to 2000mm size belts.
