Kinder & Company have designed a dust containment system, Kinder’s K-Snap-Loc Dust Seal System that protects workers against high level exposure to toxic dusts.
Crystalline silica, which has been linked to tuberculosis and lung cancer, is a naturally occurring mineral and core component of quartz, sand, flint, agate, granite, and many other mineral rocks.
Many of these mineral rocks are used for building and road construction while silica is used to create materials such as glass and concrete. Industries that use these mineral rocks need to install dust containment systems to protect their employees.
Kinder’s K-Snap-Loc Dust Seal System is designed to provide protection from and containment of dust. The dust containment system can be easily installed and is suitable for most conveyor applications.
The system is made from high Performance Polyurethane suitable for the harshest of working environments, and will outlast rubber seals and reduce drag on conveyors by 60%.
Installation is easy, simply tack the mount rail system and snap the dust seal into place with the pin.
K-Snap-Loc Dust seal utilizes urethane’s inherent ‘memory set’ to apply downward pressure onto the belts surface eliminating the need for manual adjustments, reducing downtime and creating a tight seal.
