Manta 2000 laser and camera sorters, now available from Key Technology Australia , are capable of sorting up to and beyond 20 metric tons of processed vegetables or fruit per hour.
Featuring a two metre wide scan area to dramatically increase throughput while maintaining a space-saving footprint, these sorters provide sub-millimetre resolution scanning to detect and remove the smallest defects and foreign material.
Mantra 2000 laser and camera sorters can use colour and/or Vis/IR cameras to recognise the size and shape of objects, as well as millions of subtle colour differences. Defects can then be removed based on user-defined reject standards.
Combining various cameras and lasers on one platform ensures comprehensive sorting. Up to eight top mounted cameras and up to two top mounted lasers can be fitted to these sorters, with optional bottom mounted sensors also available where needed to meet application requirements.
